Description
The Scorched D5TFCAMK-ST backup camera system provides a perfect view of the vehicles rear surroundings for backing up safely. Easy to install with no cutting or splicing of the wires and includes detailed installation instructions. The 5" TFT LCD color monitor quickly and securely mounts to the dash or console using a 3M automotive grade adhesive mounting pad. The compact camera's bracket mounts to the top of any standard U.S. license plate frame using the existing screws to lock it in place. The ultra-compact camera is only .875" deep by .75" in diameter and is weather resistant to protect it against water. Use the supplied OBD-II Y-splitter cable to easily connect and power the camera and monitor thru your vehicle's OBD II port. The system powers itself up automatically when the vehicles speed is under 10 mph. The 480p resolution monitor and the 170-degree wide angle view camera with low-light visibility provides a clear view of objects behind you for maximum safety daytime or nighttime while backing up. This backup camera system is compatible with all 2008 and up or most 2001 to 2007 vehicles with an OBD II interface and is backed by Scorches' Lifetime Tech Support and 1-year.
